The Action-RPG based on the anime series has got a release date for NA and Europe. Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness will be launching on September 2nd for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 2nd, 2022.
The game is based on the Made in Abyss anime, but there will be two modes to try, one that stays true to the anime narrative, and another with an original story. Fans can expect characters from the series, and even scenes that are fully voiced by the anime cast. The announcement also came with profiles for each of the main characters for the Deep in Abyss mode, which allows players to customise their very own Cave Rider.
The main characters from the anime series Made in Abyss will be in the game. But players can also try Deep in Abyss to create their very own Cave Rider.
Previously developer Spike Chunsoft revealed the different game modes for Made in Abyss, which includes Hello Abyss which is based on the series and Deep in Abyss for a whole new customisable character for players to control. There were also details shared about the crafting respects of the game and a challenging mechanic, where the character will experience “severe strains” when returning from the depths of the abyss.
