Lily Allen’s appearance leaves This Morning viewers distracted: ‘Looks so different’ | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV
Lily Allen appeared on This Morning to discuss her role in the upcoming comedy, Dreamland with Holly Willoughby and Joel Dommett. Starring in the Sky comedy alongside Freema Agyeman, viewers were confused by how “different” the singer looked, and several took to social media to ask why she looked “nothing like her”. Lily sat on the This Morning sofa to explain the upcoming series, Dreamland.
“So just explain who you are,” presenter Holly requested.
“My character is called Mel,” Lily replied before turning to her co-star.
“And my character’s called Trish,” Freema laughed before Holly elaborated on the story.

“Trish is the older sister, isn’t she?” Holly commented. “So she’s pregnant with her third child at the moment.”
The host went on: “So, she’s kind of this tour de force, really – very, very passionate about her kids their entire lives.”
Alluding to Lily, she added: “You on the other hand have been in Paris.”
“I have,” Lily responded. “I’ve been in Paris, doing something in fashion.
“And have sort of found myself back in Margate, not really that happy about it…
“I’ve kind of enjoyed Paris, but yeah, then chaos sort of ensues.”
Viewers tuned in and seemingly couldn’t pay too much attention to what the actors had to say though because they were so shocked about how different Lily looked.
The 37-year-old, who usually sports long dark hair, stunned viewers with a short blonde hair-do.
Fans also pointed out she looked unrecognisable in other ways.
