Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth Has Even More Wacky New Jobs

One thing you can count on for this sequel, Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth will have plenty of outlandish jobs to play. As Ichiban makes his return this time with his own island to manage, there are going to be some new jobs up for offer. Recruitment will be key, in the previous game you could head to Hello Work to change jobs. Infinite Wealth will have no shortage of strange but fun ways to take down enemies with characters doing what they do best in battle.

Jobs in Infinite Wealth

First up we have the Heiress, known as Chitose Fujinomiya who uses her ballet moves to lower enemies’ attack and speed. Getting people to where they need to go, Taxi Driver Eirc Tomizawa can also throw tires at enemies’ or even give them a debuff. He is armed with a wrench and uses electrical and ice abilities to hit their weak points.

Our returning Hero is Ichiban Kasuga, his role is rather straightforward with combat-focused moves. He can also buff and heal his allies. Taking up the Hitman role is Joon-gi Han, who will attack and defeat enemies before they even have a chance to make their move.

One of the most powerful jobs in the bunch is the Dragon of Dojima, Kazuma Kiryu’s job. He can change between three different styles of combat, to adapt to any fight. Picking up clues isn’t Koichi Adachi’s only role as a Detective, he can use powerful combat moves and take a punch as a tank.

As a Barmaid, Saeko Mukoda uses status effects and has a range of attacks to overthrow different powerful enemies or endure long battles. Her ultimate Champagne Splash sounds harmless but actually is super cold, dealing cold damage. While Seonhee takes on the technical job of Assassin who can stop enemies’ movements and steal turns from them.

You can’t have a Yakuza game (or Like a Dragon game as it’s called now) without a Gangster on your team. Tianyou Zhao can debuff enemies with their combat-orientated job as well as heal allies or apply a self-buff. Lastly the return of Yu Nanba as the Homeless Guy who has magic as his focus and can attack a whole range of enemies with it.

New Jobs

Returning characters retain their default jobs in the first game Yakuza: Like a Dragon, however, there will be new ones. Male characters will be able to gain new roles such as Samurai, Marine Master or Western Man jobs. Samurais are skilled in the art of blades and can cause some serious bleed damage and use bows for ranged attacks. The Marine Master is more a balanced class that can debuff enemies or heal up team members while surfing it seems. The Western Man is more cowboy-themed, excelling in battles with multiple enemies. He can wield such weapons as a lasso, dynamite or twin pistols.

While for women characters there will be Kunoichi Maid, and Tropical Dancer jobs. Kunoichi uses speed and can utilise ninjutsu to create multiples or themself or switch turns with allies. The Maid job acts like a mage class and can focus on multiple enemies. Lastly, the Tropical Dancer will be a support role and can use powerful magic attacks against foes. Send enemies flying with the powerful ultimate skill Dancing Kick.

In case you missed it, Infinite Wealth continues the spinoff series of the Yakuza games, but now dropping Yakuza from the title altogether. It continues Ichiban’s story as he finds himself starting from the bottom on an island holiday destination. Here he will take on mini-games and fight enemies. He won’t be alone with a host of new jobs available for his allies who can join his party in turn-based RPG battles.
