LifeAfter tips to survive in the wilderness

1

TIP #1 – PREPARE FOR THE WORST

One of the weirdest but probably the most compelling pieces of advice you can get for LifeAfter is to prepare for the worst even before you launch the game. The game’s world is full of zombies and other dangerous creatures eager to kill you.

So, each time you decide to leave the house and farm some resources, make sure to have a ranged weapon, some ammo, and powerful armour with you. At some point, it might save your life.

Still, don’t take too many resources with you. They take up space in your inventory and might prevent you from getting valuable new materials.

2

TIP #2 – REGAIN YOUR BACKPACK

Every player in LifeAfter has probably died at least once, and that’s okay. Even experienced players sometimes make mistakes and get killed by zombies.

If you find yourself in such a situation, you must try to regain resources. Look at the mini-map and try to find the special backpack icon. Afterwards, move to that point of death and collect all the loot you dropped.

Still, you have a limited time to collect all the resources, so you should try to take your items back as soon as possible.

3

TIP #3 – FIND A TEAM

Finding a team can make the game even more interesting and can significantly simplify the gameplay, thus helping you to progress faster.

If you have many friends who play LifeAfter, try to team up with them and complete quests, events, strongholds, and other stuff together. If not, you can also try to head to the Facebook Groups dedicated to this game and find a teammate there.

TIP #4 – USE SKILL POINTS

One of the best ways to improve your character is to use Skill Points. You can increase your DPS and improve crafting and gathering skills. Use your skill points wisely though, as they can get progressively more difficult to earn as you head into the game’s later stages.

5

TIP #5 – KEEP YOUR CHARACTER FULL

Like most survival games, LifeAfter has a hunger mechanic. A unique hunger bar gets decreased when you collect raw materials or spend time in the game. Once the hunger bar is at the lower levels, your character will receive various debuffs and start losing HP.

Therefore, it would be best to keep your character fed at all times. It allows you to keep your HP level stable, decreases energy consumption by 20%, and increases the movement speed by 5%.

6

TIP #6 – PAY ATTENTION TO WEATHER

Weather is an important part of LifeAfter. It significantly impacts your character, so you’ll have to act accordingly.

Watch out for rainy weather. It is probably the worst condition you might face in the game. When it’s raining, you have a high chance of catching a cold or getting debuffs. So, stay in your home when it’s raining outside.

It is highly recommended to stay home at night as well. The temperature can drop to low levels, and you must have a Torch to survive.

7

TIP #7 – PARTICIPATE IN EVENTS

You need to have many resources to survive in the wild. Gathering them manually is a big problem, but participating in different in-game events can quickly solve this issue. The developers regularly add events that feature plenty of resources as a reward, so make sure to participate in them.

if you want to get more benefits from events, a good idea is to invite your friends and complete the objectives together.

TIP #8 – JOIN A CAMP

If you are a beginner, one of the best things you can do is to join a Camp – the special clans in LifeAfter. Even though it might be pretty challenging to find the right camp for beginners, the pay-offs are worth the effort.

Camps provide unique perks, activities, and communication with other players. As you gain more experience, you can even become a camp leader. Still, managing a camp includes tons of different responsibilities. That’s why you need to be well-prepared to become a leader of a camp.
