‘Kingdom Two Crowns’ New Update Adds Difficulty Modes, Balance Adjustments, a New Mystery, and More – TouchArcade

If you’ve not kept up with Kingdom Two Crowns ($2.99) from Raw Fury, it got paid DLC in the form of Kingdom Two Crowns: Norse Lands. We’ve covered Kingdom Two Crowns for a long time across its original announcement with the reveal of two player splitscreen mode and the cross platform update. Kingdom Two Crowns has just been updated (rolling out on all platforms) with new difficulty modes, balance adjustments, and a lot more. This 1.1.16 update hit iOS before just arriving on Steam. The new difficulty modes are: Peaceful, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Cursed. These adjust the spawn rate of the Greed letting you make it more accessible or more challenging. There have been Norse Lands-specific changes as well with the ghost now teaching new rulers how to buy shields and activate the Shield wall. When it comes to balance changes, there are some notable ones. Ballista towers are now taller with arrows not being stuck in walls as often, you will now have an extra moment to recover your crown before the game ends, farms will deploy farmlands quicker, and more. Today’s update also has a change to the coin purse with coins no longer dropping randomly, many issues fixed in the base game and Kingdom Two Crowns Norse Lands. Check out the full patch notes on the Steam page for the game here. This includes balance adjustments, fixes, new features, and more.
