Kingdom Come: Deliverance Celebrates 6 Million Copies Sold
Gaining six million copies sold is no small feat as Kingdom Come Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios rounds their sixth year of the RPG. The title follows the journey of Henry, a blacksmith’s son who is a survivor of a brutal attack of his village by the onslaught from King Sigismund‘s army. Joining the resistance battalion against Hungary led by Lord Radzig Kobyla, he joins a quest to restore the King Wencelaus back to his rightful position on the throne.
The game’s narrative choices and historical events send players on a whirlwind adventure into the Middle Ages where knights and Central Europe politics take the main stage. Of course, conflict means intense combat, wielding sword and shields on the battlefield. The game later released a number of DLCs which introduced further exploits into the medieval journey including From the Ashes, which involves rebuilding a village from the ground up. There was also A Woman’s Lot, spotlighting Theresa’s experience of surviving the attack at Skalitz. There was also Band of Bastards which added minor skirmishes and further combat.
Happy #KCD Anniversary everyone! ⚔️ We are proud to share that Kingdom Come: Deliverance has surpassed the 6 million copies mark. We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you… so a big THANK YOU! 🖤 pic.twitter.com/TB71yBDiaq

Our original review of the game called it a “feast of the eyes” as it transports you to amazing castles. Along with its “solid musical score” and “unique roleplaying experience” players will feel fully immersed in its open world. With a decent 8.7/10 any worthy knight should take a gander post haste. If you haven’t picked up the game yet there’s a handy Royal Edition which puts together the base game and all released content into one neat regal bundle.
Kingdom Come Deliverance is available on Playstation, Xbox and PC.
