Is LEGO Fortnite Permanent? Game Mode Explained

LEGO Fortnite is finally live for players, and the game mode has transcended the gaming community, thanks in large part to the game incorporating all the features we love from other survival games.

However, some are worrying that the game mode isn’t permanent, and we’re here to break down exactly what LEGO Fortnite’s lifespan is.

Is LEGO Fortnite here forever?

Taking all the beloved aspects of Fortnite and LEGO and blending them within one another, along with adding some survival aspects, is exactly what Epic has done, and players are overjoyed.

While most of our time thus far has been spent crafting new materials and trying to survive the night, some are hoping that this game mode isn’t like one of Fortnite’s past limited-time modes.

However, this theory is thankfully debunked, as Epic Games noted that LEGO Fortnite is indeed going to be here forever — at least until Fortnite becomes obsolete, which, frankly, is never happening.

LEGO Fortnite is not a limited-time mode in Fortnite; it is instead a permanent, separate game within the Fortnite engine, so it is basically a brand-new game within the game.

No matter if you play the actual Fortnite battle royale, players worldwide will be able to queue into LEGO Fortnite and see what the game mode has to offer, whether this is crafting, fighting monsters, or just taking it easy within the sandbox world.

This also means there’s no pressure to rush to try out the game mode, as it is never going away for the foreseeable future. We’re also sure Epic is going to add further options and other content into the LEGO Fortnite game mode.
