The creator of SUMMERHOUSE at Future Friends Games has proclaimed that his game has no end and no goals and is purely for enjoyment. However, as you play through the game, you may notice you unlock certain hidden blocks for use. This gives the game some kind of goal, and here’s how to unlock them all.
To view all the available blocks you can unlock in SUMMERHOUSE, bring up the pause menu. Here you will see the Progress option. You can now see all the potential blocks you can unlock simply by building your house. They are unlocked by using a secret combination of blocks in sync in SUMMERHOUSE.
This sleepy little cat can be added by placing these two air conditioning blocks next to one another.
The relaxing balcony person block can be unlocked in SUMMERHOUSE by placing two of these balconies beside one another.
If you want this chill dude unlocked from the hidden SUMMERHOUSE blocks, simply place these stairs by this door.
For this old person and the cat, put these stairs by this door.
Who doesn’t want a lovely old lady resident? You can unlock this hidden block in SUMMERHOUSE by placing this plant by this door.
By adding at least three of the power lines and the wooden triangle roof block, you can unlock the birds.
Pop the white roof triangle by the orange bird roof to unlock the hidden bird roof block in SUMMERHOUSE.
Let’s get spooky. Place this powerline by this grass, and our ghostly friend will visit at night.
Chickens aren’t fussy. Simply place this grass block down to unlock the hidden chickens in SUMMERHOUSE.
Pop the orange hotel sign by the orange bird roof to unlock the hidden block in SUMMERHOUSE.
I wonder who she is calling? Place this phone booth by this wall block to introduce the mysterious caller to your home.
For a few of these hidden block unlocks, you’ll need the orange bird roof. To unlock it, simply place a few of the orange roof blocks beside each other.
This little block features a character reading the noticeboard. To unlock it, place two noticeboards next to one another.
With these two kids, bring some life and laughter into your SUMMERHOUSE build. Place these stairs with this door and a green awning above to unlock this hidden block.
This little fella is less of a guard dog and more of a welcoming party. To unlock his block for SUMMERHOUSE, place these stairs next to this plant pot.
Introduce Grandma to your building by placing this cafe sign above this window.
Improve the class of your building with this hidden block of a man reading. Simply put the orange cafe sign above this window.
The orange bird box with the orange cafe sign will introduce this hidden block to your SUMMERHOUSE game.
Place the orange bin under the yellow awning to unlock the bin dog.
Bin chickens are the scourge of modern cities, but you can have one by simply popping the green and orange bins side by side.
Place multiple of these trees next to each other to introduce these tree roosting birds.
With all three vending machine blocks in a row, you will introduce a guy looking to enjoy some snacks at SUMMERHOUSE.
By putting two of these windows side by side, you can introduce this fellow to your building.
For the final hidden block, we have this pensive man taking some time out to look out his window. Simply place two of these window blocks side by side to unlock him.
Using hotkeys rather than the mouse and keyboard can make your life a lot easier while building your perfect home.
