The voice chat update was released along with the display name update, which was another highly anticipated feature. While the voice chat feature doesn’t really make the game any different, it still makes it pretty convenient since players don’t need to rely on VoIP applications to use voice chat while playing the game. How to Turn On Voice Chat in Roblox & Verify Age
Before you can enable voice chat in Roblox, you need to ensure that you have verified your age. The developers have put a lower limit on the age, so unless you are above eighteen years of age, you will not be able to use this feature. This is a lengthy process, and you will need to follow the given steps to verify your age.
- Login to your account and click on Settings.
- Click on Account Info and click on Verify My Age under your birthday.
- You will see a QR code. Scan this code with your mobile device.
- Click on Start Session to begin the verification process.
- Follow the instructions and then scan your ID proof.
- Then you will need to capture a selfie.
- Complete the rest of the process and you should be verified in a few minutes.
If you are over 18 years of age and have valid ID proof, you should be able to get verified easily. Once you are verified, simply go to Settings and enable Spatial Voice Chat under Privacy. This will enable voice chat for you, and you can start communicating with your teammates in the game. If you want to mute other players, you can do so by hovering over their names.
