You will encounter one such puzzle at the early stage of the game while completing Chapter 4, where you will be required to solve a puzzle on the stained glass to find Ashley in the Church. The stained-glass puzzle of the Church is one of the most iconic puzzles of the Resident Evil franchise. It is almost identical to the one players can find in the original game, except for some slight modifications.

Find The Blue Dial

The first thing you need to do to solve the puzzle is to find the nearby blue dial. Using this blue dial, you need to make your moves onto the stained glass and solve the puzzle. Thankfully, you don’t need to do much in order to find the blue dial.

After entering the Church, you can find the pulpit before you. Instead of going towards it, immediately turn right, and you will find a long hallway. Walk through the hallway, and you will see a cabinet near the wooden crates. Open the cabinet, and you will find the Blue Dial you are looking for.

Rotate Stained Glass Correctly

After obtaining the blue dial, head down to the altar in front of the pulpit and look for a switch on the wall to the left of the altar. Flipping this switch will bring out a panel with a Red and a Green dial.

You can see that a dial is missing on the far left of this panel. Put the Blue dial you obtained from the cabinet in the missing dial’s place. With all the dials in place, you can now use them to rotate the stained glass and put all the colors in place in order to solve the puzzle.

In this puzzle, you are trying to move all the colors to their places so that no white portion remains in the stained glass anymore. The Blue dial with rotate the blue colors on the glass, the green dial will rotate the green ones, and the red dial will do the same for the red colors. As the colors are all mixed up, it might seem a bit confusing in the beginning. But there are some simple steps to follow to solve this puzzle in the shortest amount of time.

The easiest way to solve this puzzle is to pick a color and make it fall to the correct position. Solving this puzzle gets a lot easier if you start with the Green color. Keep rotating the Green dial until the Green color fits with the head and torso level of the Las Plagas insignia.

Then start rotating the Red dial in order to move the color to the proper position. Keep rotating the Red dial until the Red color aligns with the leg and below-torso part of the Las Plagas insignia.

And finally, after both the colors fall into place, rotate the Blue dial to fill up the remaining white spaces on the stained glass.

This will complete the puzzle and open the door for you, and you can proceed with the game.
