How to Save Your Game in Diablo Immortal – GameSpew
If you’re just jumping into Diablo Immortal, the new mobile game from Blizzard, you’re probably going to want to know how to save your game.
We’ve only scratched the surface of Diablo Immortal, but we’re enjoying what we’ve played so far. It feels very much like Diablo III in terms of style, which is no bad thing. It’s also packed with hellish enemies, and our characters have the skills and abilities we’ve come to know and love. But before we got stuck in, knowing one thing was more important than anything else: how to save.
You won’t want to lose any progress while playing Diablo Immortal, so knowing how to save your game is key. Thankfully, it’s easy: an autosave function ensures your progress is regularly saved.
The bad news is there’s no way to manually save in Diablo Immortal, so you’ll have to be slightly careful before quitting the game. On the left-hand side of your screen, you’ll see a “game saved” notification pop up. It’s very regular, and seems to save when you enter a new area, defeat a set of enemies, or pick up a new item.
That means you’re largely safe to quit the game freely, and you’re never going to lose too much progress. We’d recommend using the ‘leave game’ option from within the menu rather than simply closing the app, however. Click the menu button in game, then click the cog. From there, you’ll see ‘Leave Game’ at the bottom of your screen.
