How to report a bug for Call of Duty Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) and Modern Warfare 3 (MW3)

If you are experiencing a bug in either Modern Warfare 3 or Modern Warfare Zombies, you can go above and beyond by reporting it. To help you help make MW3 and MWZ less broken, here are the three ways you can report a bug.

I know of three ways to report bugs when you find them in Modern Warfare 3 and Modern Warfare Zombies. Two of the ways are through official report sites and the third is through Twitter (or X).

Use Activision Support site

The first and best way to report bugs in Call of Duty is through the official Activision Support site. This is the most official way to report bugs to Activision because it’s through their own medium. We’ll never know where our reports go or how they are used, but at least we have the comfort of knowing our bug sightings have been cataloged.

In the dropdowns, select Bug Report, the game, your platform, the category of your bug, and then describe in detail what you experienced. Remember, the more detail, the better. When you’re done, don’t forget to submit it.

Use the Cvent website

The second way to submit bug errors found in Call of Duty is through the Cvent website. This was the spot used during the MW3 beta and, for all we know, it could still be active. Note: This site is only for MW3 errors. In my opinion, it’s worth trying.

Select the platform you’re playing Modern Warfare 3 on, select the category that best suits the bug, select your region, and detail the bug in the box provided. Then, submit.

Tweet at Call of Duty Updates on Twitter (or X)

The last shot in the dark you have is tweeting Call of Duty Updates on Twitter (or X). Unfortunately, it’s rare for Call of Duty Updates to respond to tweets which makes it hard for us to know if they are seen. But, if you’re desperate for a bug to get fixed, then this is a course of action you shouldn’t ignore.

When you tweet Call of Duty Updates, I recommend including the game, the platform, the region, the description of the bug, and a video capture of the bug itself if you have it. If you include all of that, you’ll have the best odds of getting your bug report seen by Activision.

Bugs are the worst thing that can happen in any video game. It’s just unfortunate that, in my experience, Modern Warfare 3 seems to have a lot more of them than other live service games do. While you are waiting for the bugs to get fixed, you should brush up on how to unlock the HRM-9 and the TAQ Evolvere.
