There isn’t any switch to flip or anything like that. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 locks you into third-person at the start of a game, there’s no toggle so you can guarantee all other players are also in third-person.
To play in third-person, you just need to select 3rd Person Moshpit when selecting game modes. It will be the very last option available.
The third-person 3rd Person Moshpit playlist lets you play Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint in third-person perspective.
