Xbox has just announced a new way of playing Fortnite across all platforms, especially on iOS devices. Here is how to play Fortnite on iOS using Xbox Cloud Gaming for free!

Less than an hour ago, Microsoft shared a tweet, officially revealing the arrival of Fortnite on Xbox Cloud Gaming as a free title, playing which requires no subscription fee.

Simply put, you don’t need to pay anything to subscribe to Xbox Cloud Gaming if you only want to play Fortnite. Just install the app, hit play, and enjoy!

How to Play Fortnite on iOS via Xbox Cloud Gaming for Free

All you need to do for playing Fortnite on iOS using xCloud is to make a Microsoft account. You can create one via this link. Once you have a Microsoft account, visit this page via your device’s browser and click on the “Play For Free” button. Now, you should sign in to your Microsoft account, and that’s it! You can now enjoy playing Fortnite on iOS without paying for anything or downloading any updates.

Keep in mind that this feature is only available in the countries listed here. You can probably use a VPN to launch the game if you are living in another country, but this could affect the streaming quality.

Fortnite is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC. The game is supposed to be added to GeForce Now service as well in the future.
