An Expected Lie is a short quest in Genshin Impact, which has only one puzzle to solve. However, the puzzle might seem a bit confusing to some players as there is no hint of how to solve it. In this guide, we will show you how to open the Sealed Door in Genshin Impact.

How to solve the Sealed Door puzzle in Genshin Impact
While progressing through the An Expected Lie quest, you will get an objective to open a sealed door to find Nacker. To find the sealed door use the Fort Charybdis Ruins Teleport Waypoint and go underwater. Here, you will find the sealed door we are looking for. The door will have to find an Orange Crystal and a Blue Wheel to operate the lock of the door.
Once you reach the door, swim to your left and you will find a Xenochromatic Ball Octopus ability. You must acquire it to complete this mission. After copying the ability, come back to the crystal. Now, hit the crystal with the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus ability and it will turn blue, activating the wheel. Use the ability again on the wheel hold it and move the block on the door.
Keep holding the ability on the wheel and wait for the block to reach the other end of the door frame. Once, it reaches the other end, it will start to go back to the initial position. Now, notice that there is a small square-shaped stone slab on the right side of the door. When the block starts to go back, hit the Blue Crystal with the ability again to stop the block.
Keep in mind that the sealed door will only open when the block starts to go back after reaching the other hand. Moreover, while going back, its speed will significantly increase, requiring you to be precise with the timing. If you have failed a few times at first like me, don’t hesitate to keep trying again and again.
Once you have unlocked the door, head inside the place to find Nacker. Inside, you will find Paimon, Chaussivert, and Fusilier for your help. Finishing the An Expected Lie quest will give you the following rewards.
