They say destroying things is much easier than putting in the hours to actually build them and master them, and this will apply to Palworld as well. Building a sustainable base filled with hard-working Pals will require a lot of structures that, more often than not, will not be well-placed thanks to a player’s inability to plan in advance. Well, there are some good news and bad news. Let’s start with the bad news. There is no way to move any structures that you have already built. Yes, that poorly placed Ranch needs to go ASAP. You see, there is a game mechanic that is called Disassembly Mode which will highlight any built structures and will effectively destroy them after a click.
The structure will disappear completely and you will not be able to move it whatsoever. However, this is where the good news enters the room. Any resources you have spent building a specific structure will automatically be refunded without any type of penalty. This means that, if you misplaced a structure, you can just disassemble it and rebuild it somewhere else. Of course, this means that you will need to wait a little bit before it is fully built, but at least time is the only resource that is lost in this transaction.
How to move your base in Palworld
Now, this is a tricky one. You see, your base and its boundaries are based on one thing and one thing only: the Pal Box. Yes, this “box” will define the location and boundaries of your base and manage the location of your Pals. So, just like some structures, maybe you feel like your base is lacking in the placement department and you need to relocate somewhere else in the world. Well, then, the only way you are going to be able to do so is to disassemble the Pal Box and locate it to the new spot. This new spot will be your new base.
