During the Innkeeper’s Husband quest in No Rest for the Wicked, your objective is to get Gordon off a bridge. The problem is that there’s a gap in the bridge that only you can jump across, so you need to find another way to get him down.
Don’t stress too hard — we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to get Gordon down from the bridge in No Rest for the Wicked.
To get Gordon down from the bridge in No Rest for the Wicked, grab the Western Bridge Key that is on the ground right next to him. You’re going to need this key in a bit, but for now, you’ll need to trek across the map to Mariner’s Keep. Head to the location indicated by the red arrow in the image below.
Use the Western Bridge Key on the door at this location and progress through. Be prepared for challenging fights, as this path is littered with enemies.
Now all you need to do is to get back to Gordon by continuing forward and looping around until you reach the bridge again. The image below shows where you should end up.
You’ll know you’re close when Gordon yells at you to kick down a ladder. A short cutscene will commence, and your character will knock down the ladder. Congratulations—you have successfully completed the Innkeeper’s Husband quest.
You may wonder why Gordon doesn’t immediately use the ladder, and I was a little confused myself, but don’t worry, he’ll leave the bridge on his own time.
Next time you visit Sacrament, Gordon will be there, and you’ll notice that he has opened a new shop. Gordon’s shop is incredibly helpful as he offers food, ingredients, and cooking recipes for your travels. Considering the importance of eating in No Rest for the Wicked, I’m sure you’ll be visiting Gordon very frequently.
