The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom brings about many things that are new to the Zelda franchise. One example of this is building your own contraptions, and being able to fuse different items together to create a stronger weapon. One thing that hasn’t changed however is the ability to ride horses, carrying over from other games, Link can indeed ride, and tame, horses in Tears of the Kingdom, much like Breath of the Wild. Another thing that’s similar to Breath of the Wild is the amount of unique horses there are in the world. During your adventures to the Depths, you can find yourself a skeleton horse, for example. One of these horses is the Giant White Stallion, which you can only find at one certain location in Tears of the Kingdom. Here’s our guide on how to get the Giant White Stallion in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to get the Giant White Stallion in Tears of the Kingdom

The Giant White Stallion is pretty easy to find in Tears of the Kingdom. First things first, you’re going to need to head to Highland Stable, which is in the south of the map, as it’s the closest location to where the Giant White Stallion spawns. Here you’ll hear rumors about a Giant White Stallion from the people who’re here, that’s because it’s actually pretty close!

You’re going to want to then head to the location you see on the map above. This is the location of the Giant White Stallion. Continue past the two campers, and into the canyon. If you want to talk to those two campers, you can. They tell you about the mystical Horse God and the legendary Giant White Stallion. When you bring the horse back and talk to them, it’s nice to see their reactions to the horse.

You’ll see the Giant White Stallion at the end of the path, it’s hard to miss due to its size. Once you find it, you’re in for a wild time trying to tame it. I personally had two wheels of stamina, and was only able to tame it when I used my entire stamina bar. So that’s with five stamina upgrades, it was only tamed right at the last second. So you might want to invest into stamina if you haven’t done so already.

After you tame it, you can take it to the nearby stable and register it for use whenever.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for purchase from the Nintendo Store.
