How To Get The Fire Stone

The Fire Stone is required in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to evolve Growlithe, Eevee, or Capsakid, and here’s where you can find the Evolution Stone.


Evolving your Pokemon in the new Pokemon Scarlet & Violet can be a relatively easy task, with some Pokemon naturally evolving at certain levels. However, there are a few Pokemon that can only evolve through the use of special items.

Those looking to evolve their Growlithe, Eevee, or Capsakid will need to find the Fire Stone in order to do so. Luckily, there are a few places where you can find this Evolution Stone through a little bit of searching.

First Location: East Province (Area Two)

The first area where you can find the Fire Stone is East Province (Area Two). It should be a very easy find and is guaranteed to be in the same location for everyone.

To get here, you can start by flying to the East Province (Area Two) Pokemon Center. If you have not reached this location yet, you can easily map out a route starting from Mesagoza (East Gate) through to South Province (Area Three).

Once you have reached the Pokemon Center, you will want to head east on the map to the pinned location shown above. You can veer off the main path until you are in the grassy area.

You will eventually see a small hill on the map, and the Fire Stone will be right at the beginning of this incline. It will be the small, red shining Poke Ball on the ground. Pick this up, and you will have found your first Fire Stone.

Second Location: East Province (Area Three)

The next location is a bit more randomized and isn’t always in the exact same location for each person. However, you can find it in the same general location if you pick up all the Poke Balls and sparkling spots in the area.

You can begin by flying to the Levincia (North) Pokemon Center. Once you are here, you can take the dirt path up the hill. When you have reached the area of the path nearby to the Lurking Steel Titan, veer off the path and head north.

You will want to pass by the circular sunken area on the right side until you reach the marked location above. The Fire Stone will be the sparkling spot on the ground.

Third Location: Delibird Presents

The last location of the Fire Stone will be through the method of shopping. You will be able to buy Fire Stones at the Delibird Presents store.

You can find one in Mesagoza towards the southern area of the shopping center. You can find it through the map above.

The option to purchase the Fire Stone will only be available to you once you have defeated three Gym Leaders. It will not be available in the store beforehand.

This item will run you either 3,000 Pokemon Dollars or 3,000 League Points. It is on the pricier side but is an extremely beneficial item to bring your Fire-Type Pokemon to their fullest potential.
