How To Get The Broken Butterfly

There are plenty of weapons to choose from in Resident Evil 4 Remake. If you’re looking for a single-shot weapon that can deal a massive amount of damage, the Broken Butterfly may be a good choice for you.

This weapon isn’t extremely hard to get ahold of, but players that don’t know its usefulness may pass it up on first inspection. While its ammo type can make it a pain to use, the Broken Butterfly is worth grabbing when you can, and here’s where you can find it.

Broken Butterfly Location

The Broken Butterfly is a great magnum and can be obtained at the start of Chapter 6. Once this Chapter is reached, players should head to the Merchant’s shop to find the weapon for sale for 29,400 Pesetas. This price is pretty heavily reduced thanks to the Special Offer that will be on the weapon on its first encounter.

If players accept the offer by buying the weapon during Chapter 6, they will also receive the recipe for Magnum Ammo, which is 7,000 Pesetas on its own, making this deal very valuable. This offer will only last the duration of Chapter 6, so players should grab the weapon while they can. The Broken Butterfly will take up only six slots in Leon’s case, so it isn’t too big of a setback to inventory space.

Broken Butterfly Stats

The Broken Butterfly is a bit different from other small sidearms in the game. This weapon shoots Magnum Ammo, which deals huge amounts of damage. While it’s not the best weapon in the game by a long shot, it is useful in certain scenarios and can be a life-saver against larger enemies. The weapon’s Power stat scales to massive heights when upgraded and can singularly topple enemies with ease. It isn’t phenomenal in its other stats, but it is a great option to have in Leon’s arsenal.
