How to get the Beezer up the hill to meet Kaysa in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can’t properly upgrade your armor until you meet with the various Great Fairy entities around Hyrule. They’ve retreated into their pods, though. Only music will coax them out of hiding. Unfortunately, delivering the sound they want is often tricky. The process requires you to bring a troupe of musicians to the appropriate place in their favored vehicle. Here is our guide on how to get the Beezer up the hill to meet Kaysa in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Note: This guide assumes you have already located Pyper and completed his side quest. Check our separate guide if you need to know where to find Pyper.

Tears of the Kingdom – how to get the Beezer up the hill to meet Kaysa

The Great Fairy Kaysa lives up the hill from Outskirt Stable. She won’t consent to see you until she hears flute music. The road that leads to the hilltop where she resides has recently seen a rockslide. That disaster makes Kaysa difficult to reach by wagon, which is the only mode of transport the Stable Trotters will consider. You have no choice but to get the Beezer up the hill, as the band members won’t just let you lift them in the air and carry them the whole way.

To get the Beezer up the hill to meet Kaysa, you must first merge it with another vehicle. You will find the Beezer resting on the ground near where the Stable Trotters gather. A broken vehicle leans against a rock near that area. It has three Wheel parts. A fourth Wheel part rests nearby.

Start by attaching the fourth wheel to that cart. Make sure the arrow on the wheel is pointing in the right direction. It is entirely possible to attach it completely backwards. Doing so will cause the wagon to move very poorly. The cause for that difficulty may not immediately be self-evident. Ask me how I know.

Once you have all four wheels attached to your stone vehicle (and pointed so they turn in the same direction), attach the Steering Wheel piece near the front end. Also affix a Fan to the back end, and make sure it exhausts air toward the back to act as a booster. Then, lift the Beezer and attach it on the concrete slab. Talk to the Maestro to let him know he and his troupe should climb aboard.

When everyone is sitting comfortably in the wagon, you’re ready to get the Beezer up the hill to meet Kaysa. You need to get over the rocky part before any Zonai charge expires, so pay attention to how the stone bounces you about. Don’t let it jar you off course too much. Once you manage to get over those first boulders, the rest of the trail should be easy to negotiate.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for purchase from the Nintendo Store.
