How to get the Ancient Hero’s Aspect Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

There are plenty of armors to collect in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but perhaps none so encapsulating as the Ancient Hero’s Aspect set. It covers Link from head to toe in a skin of sorts that turns him into another character entirely. It’s definitely one of the more unique sets, and hardcore fans will undoubtedly want to collect it as an end-game reward. Here is how to get the Ancient Hero’s Aspect Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to get the Ancient Hero’s Aspect Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

You’ll need to take a deep breath, because you’re about to be in for a wild ride if you want this armor. You need to complete all 152 Shrines in order to claim the Ancient Hero’s Aspect. This is the only prerequisite, though it will take a lot of time to complete. We have plenty of guides for the difficult Shrines if you get caught up on anything. It’s also handy to know the connection between Lightroots in the Depths and Shrines.

Once you manage to complete all of the Shrines you’ll receive a side quest to head to the Temple of Time where you can claim your reward. Make your way to the top of the Temple of Time where the locked chest awaits in the center of the hall and open it to receive the armor. You can then equip it as a set.

The description reads: “This item is said to contain the spirit of a hero that once saved Hyrule. That hero’s aura will envelop the wearer.” The base armor stat rating for the Ancient Hero’s Aspect is also at 12.

Consider yourself legendary if you manage to get the Ancient Hero’s Aspect Armor at any point while playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, because it’s certainly a respectable effort to do so. As mentioned, we also have some guides on how to complete several of the more difficult Shrines. These include how to work the rail for the Susuyai Shrine, how to solve the Nachoyah Shrine, and how to get to the Snow Mountain Shrine just to name a few.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on the Nintendo Switch.
