As you become more comfortable visiting Tartarus in Persona 3 Portable, your possibilities will open up immensely, including being able to take part in side quests for Elizabeth in the Velvet Room.
In one of the very first quests you can complete for her, you must find Elizabeth some Pine Resin to receive a reward. We will provide you with all the information you will need to ace your very first side quest in the Velvet Room.
How To Get ‘Bring Me Pine Resin’ Side Quest
In order to open up the possibility of taking on side quests for Elizabeth, there are a few requirements you will have to meet first. For one, you will need to have some experience under your belt in the tower of Tartarus, and have visited the Velvet Room in here. And, most importantly, you will have to wait until April 30th.
On this day after school, Elizabeth will call you and ask you to come visit her in the Velvet Room to discuss something. You can either reach it through the alternative entrance in Paulownia Mall, or enter through Tartarus.
When you arrive, Elizabeth will ask you to accept her requests for a reward in return. Choose ‘Accept request’, ‘Undertake a request’, and click the first option, ‘Bring me pine resin’. To ensure you are able to receive your rewards, Elizabeth requests that the Pine Resin is returned to her by May 7th. Under the details, it is also noted that the best day to obtain the item is on May 2nd. Upon completion, you will receive Siren’s Song, a bow weapon you can give to your party member Yukari.
Where To Find Pine Resin
When you have accepted the request from Elizabeth, you will now have to find the item she is looking for in the over world. To ensure you find it at the best time, wait until May 2nd to begin your search.
You can go about your regular school day however you please, but make sure you are able to return to the dorm and talk to your friends in the lobby before going to bed. You can choose to either go straight back to the dorms from the school, or hang around a little bit and do some studying before returning.
Upon arrival to your dorm, approach Yukari directly to have a conversation with her. She will most likely be sitting by the front door with all of your other friends. She will mention that she has some Pine Resin from her Archery Club, which she will then hand over to you.
After getting the item, you’ll want to return to the Velvet Room whenever you get a chance and talk to Elizabeth. When she takes the Pine Resin, she will provide you with the Siren’s Song weapon in return.
