How to get more storage in No Rest for the Wicked

A huge part of No Rest for the Wicked is collecting materials, resources, and gear to improve your character. You’ll spend most of your journey collecting so much loot that you will run out of inventory space incredibly fast.

The good news is that you can get extra storage to store all your loot that you don’t currently need. Read further to learn how to get more storage in No Rest for the Wicked.

There are a couple of ways to get extra storage space in No Rest for the Wicked. First, once you defeat the main boss and make it to Sacrament, you’ll unlock a location called Rookery Lodgings. In the basement of The Rookery is a large community chest that allows you to store up to 40 items. Don’t worry about having trouble finding this location, it’s part of the main quest called “Sacrament.”

The second way to get more storage in No Rest for the Wicked is by purchasing chests from Whittacker in the marketplace area of Sacrament. When you first speak to Whittacker, he will have two storage items in his inventory — a Small Cupboard and a Small Chest.

The Small Cupboard allows you to store up to 10 consumables, while the Small Chest allows you to store up to 10 items. As you level up Whittacker’s Crafting Shack, you will unlock more furniture that can store even more items.

After purchasing one of these storage items, you’ll notice that you can’t place it down anywhere just yet. You need to unlock a house first, which you can then place down furniture inside.

How to get a house in No Rest for the Wicked

To get a house in No Rest for the Wicked, you must first defeat Falstead Darak in the Black Trench. This boss fight is part of the “Of Rats and Raiders” main questline and is impossible to miss.

After defeating Darak and returning to Sacrament, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase your first home. The home options are as follows:

  • The Manor (30 Silver)
  • The Homestead (25 Silver)
  • The Roost (20 Silver)

You can easily find these houses by opening your map of Sacrament and looking for a house logo. Once you purchase a house, you can place down storage inside of the home for your extra loot. If you need help purchasing a house, check out our guide on how to get silver coins fast.
