Upon first unlocking the open world of FF7 Rebirth, you may try to unlock a strange shack but realize it to be locked. So how can you get inside Thorin’s Card Shop in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?
As soon as I noticed this shop was locked and I wasn’t able to find a way inside, I immediately wanted to know why I couldn’t get in. Here’s what to do.
FF7 Rebirth: How to unlock Thorin’s Card Shop
If you’re wondering whether or not you’ve missed a secret key or button to unlock the shop, don’t fret. It’s not supposed to be available to enter yet. How you can get inside Thorin’s Card Shop in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is by completing the side quest “A Rare Card Lost”.
First, make it to Bill’s Chocobo Ranch during your main quest. You’ll soon find a bar, and speaking to the bartender Vash will unlock this side quest. Vash will ask that you play Queen’s Blood against someone named Virgil to get back Vash’s Chocobo & Moogle card.

Beat Virgil at Queen’s Blood, and he’ll let you know that the card is with Thorin now. You can now head back to that little shack and enter Thorin’s Card Shop to play and beat him. Thorin isn’t just good for playing Queen’s Blood, but he sells some nice cards as well.
While at first Thorin won’t have a ton of cards in stock, he’ll continuously unlock more cards and Booster Packs for you as you get further into FF7 Rebirth. I recommend checking back once in a while to see what new Queen’s Blood cards he has in stock.
Not only can you purchase cards of summons like Odin and Ifrit, but he’ll end up selling a bunch of cool Booster Packs to keep you coming back and giving him more Gil.
