How to get Flexwood in LEGO Fortnite

Since Lego Fortnite is about creating your own world, you’ll spend tons of time searching for resources. Some are rarer than others, and some will require you to do a lot of work for them to show up. Flexwood is both of those things and in Lego Fortnite, it can be a struggle to find. To learn how to farm the resource, follow along.

Lego Fortnite: How to get Get Flexwood

Unlike other resources, Flexwood needs you to make it through specific means. First, you have to create the tools to get the resource. Before you do anything, make sure your Crafting Bench is upgraded to tier 3. You can upgrade it with the appropriate resources via the Upgrade Menu.

Now that’s done, head to the desert. I can’t provide a map since my instance of Lego Fortnite will be different than your world. So the location of the desert will be a different spot, but I’ve noticed it’s usually south of the starting area. When you’re in the desert, search for Rough Amber. It’ll be these large yellow stones. Rough Amber is fairly easy to find since it stands out most in this area.

After collecting nine Rough Amber, ensure you have a Gem Cutter unlocked, as you’ll need this tool to create Cut Amber

Lastly, head back to your camp and make Knotroot Rods by chopping down trees and processing them through the Lumber Mill. You’ll need the first-tier Forest Axe to do so.

Where to get Flexwood

When you have both resources (Cut Amber and Knotroot Rod), go to your Crafting Bench. Assuming it’s tier 3 as mentioned before, craft the Rare Forest Axe. With the Forest Axe equipped, head back to the desert and look for cactuses. When you destroy them individually, each will give out certain amounts of Flexwood
