How to get and use the Snowball Launcher in Fortnite Winterfest 2023

One of the Fortnite Winterfest 2023 quests involves you shooting enemies with a Snowball Launcher, but how can you get and use one?

Fortnite Winterfest 2023: Where to find Snowball Launcher location

There are two different ways you can find this special weapon. You can get the Snowball Launcher in Fortnite Winterfest 2023 randomly throughout the map, but you can also purchase it from Holiday Boxy southeast of Pleasant Piazza in a warehouse.

Like most weapons, you can find a Snowball Launcher randomly on the ground or in chests. But if you want to guarantee a Snowball Launcher purchase, head to this point on the map and you’ll find a warehouse. Walking around this warehouse is Holiday Boxy who sells an Epic Snowball Launcher for 600 gold ingots.

Luckily, gold ingots are available through looting chests, safes, and cash registers across the map. Once you get 600, you can purchase it from Holiday Boxy. Just be careful of other players attempting to come to the same location. Make sure the coast is clear before you make the transaction.

How to use the Snowball Launcher

Just like any weapon, you aim and fire like normal. But this time a giant snowball will fly out of the weapon. It’s not a straight shot, but it’ll launch in an arc. The good thing is that whenever I hit opponents with this weapon it typically dealt around 50 damage.

I was able to take down enemies in just three snowballs. If the enemy is a bit far away, make sure to aim the Snowball Launcher a bit higher so it lands correctly. Even if it doesn’t hit their body directly, they should get hit if they’re close enough to the blast radius.
