How to get all endings in Elden Ring

There are six total endings in Elden Ring, and seeing them all can be a massive time investment. You’ll realistically need to beat the game a minimum of three times to see the primary endings and to unlock the three ending-related trophies or achievements for Elden Ring.

For a rundown on Elden Ring’s many endings and how to see them all for yourself, check out our guide below.

Can you see all Elden Ring endings in one playthrough?

It’s not possible to see all six of Elden Ring’s endings with a single playthrough, unless you’re exploiting cloud saves or local backups. The good news is that if you have the patience and the time, experiencing Elden Ring’s endings for yourself can be simple and straightforward, as long as you’re up for the challenge. (And as long as you don’t lock yourself into the Frenzied Flame ending path — see below — that’s really hard to get yourself out of.)

Four of the game’s endings (the four “Elden Lord” endings) are nearly identical, so if you’ve seen one of them, you can watch the remaining three on YouTube and get the gist. The two other endings (“Age of the Stars” and “Lord of Frenzied Flame”) offer a very different take on the conclusion of Elden Ring’s story with dramatically different cutscenes.

Remember, you can use new game plus to start over with (most) of your items and equipment to help speed up the process.

How to get the Elden Lord: Age of Fracture ending

Unlocks the Elden Lord Trophy/Achievement

The simplest and most straightforward of Elden Ring’s endings is the Age of Fracture, effectively the default ending of the game. You simply need to defeat the game’s final bosses, Radagon and the Elden Beast. Afterward, touch the Fractured Marika remains and select “Mend the Elden Ring” to get the Age of Fracture ending. By doing so, you will restore the Elden Ring and begin a new age as the Elden Lord. Kudos!

How to get the Elden Lord: Age of Duskborn ending

Unlocks the Elden Lord Trophy/Achievement

Reaching the Age of Duskborn ending requires completing Fia’s questline, a relatively lengthy journey that concludes with you defeating the Lichdragon Fortissax and acquiring the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince.

To unlock this variation on the default ending, defeat the game’s final bosses, Radagon and the Elden Beast. Afterward, touch the Fractured Marika remains and choose the “Use Mending Rune of the Death-Prince” option to get the Age of Duskborn ending. By doing so, you will restore the Elden Ring and begin a new age as the Elden Lord, albeit with a darker twist, as the Lands Between become enveloped in fog, ridding the world of immortal beings.

How to get the Elden Lord: Age of Order ending

Unlocks the Elden Lord Trophy/Achievement

Reaching the Age of Order ending requires completing Brother Corhyn and Goldmask’s questline. After you’ve burned the Erdtree and spoken to Goldmask in the Capital of Ash, he’ll grant you the Mending Rune of Perfect Order.

To unlock this variation on the default ending, defeat the game’s final bosses, Radagon and the Elden Beast. Afterward, touch the Fractured Marika remains and choose the “Use Mending Rune of Perfect Order” option to get the Age of Order ending. By doing so, you will restore the Elden Ring and begin a new age as the Elden Lord, with a “perfect” implementation of the Golden Order. Or, so they say.

How to get the Elden Lord: Blessing of Despair ending

Unlocks the Elden Lord Trophy/Achievement

Reaching the Blessing of Despair ending requires completing the Dung Eater’s questline. After feeding the Dung Eater five Seedbed Curses, you’ll earn the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse.

To unlock this (extremely dark) variation on the default ending, defeat the game’s final bosses, Radagon and the Elden Beast. Afterward, touch the Fractured Marika remains and choose the “Use Mending Rune of the Fell Curse” option to get the Blessing of Despair ending. By doing so, you will restore the Elden Ring and begin a new age as the Elden Lord, only every living thing is cursed and will be for generations to come. Fun!

How to get the Age of the Stars ending

Unlocks the Age of the Stars Trophy/Achievement

Reaching the Age of the Stars ending requires completing Ranni the Witch’s questline — one of the most involved and elaborate series of quests in Elden Ring.

To unlock this unique ending, after completing Ranni’s full quest, defeat the game’s final bosses, Radagon and the Elden Beast. Afterward, you’ll see Ranni’s blue summon sign on the ground. Summon Ranni, and she’ll undo the Golden Order and take the Tarnished as her consort, the Elden Lord. (You will not mend the Elden Ring, but you will get a cool cutscene.)

How to get the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending

Unlocks the Lord of Frenzied Flame Trophy/Achievement

Reaching the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending requires meeting with the Three Fingers beneath the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds in Leyndell, Royal Capital. There, you will inherit the Frenzied Flame and effectively lock yourself out of every other ending in the game.

To unlock this unique ending, after inheriting the Frenzied Flame, defeat the game’s final bosses, Radagon and the Elden Beast. Afterward, touch the Fractured Marika remains and choose “Become the Lord of Frenzied Flame.” This choice will unleash the game’s other extremely dark ending, as your lordship will burn the Erdtree, the world, and everyone in it.

How to undo the Frenzied Flame affliction

If you either stumbled upon the Three Fingers unknowingly — or curiosity got the better of you — you can reverse your inheritance of the Frenzied Flame. You’ll need to complete Millicent’s questline to acquire the Unalloyed Gold Needle.

You’ll then need to defeat Malenia, Blade of Miquella at the base of the Haligtree and use the Unalloyed Gold Needle on the scarlet blossom in her boss room to receive Miquella’s Needle.

Then you’ll need to head to Dragonlord Placidusax’s arena at Crumbling Farum Azula. While in the arena (described as “the heart of the storm beyond time”), you can use the needle to reverse the Three Fingers’ Frenzied Flame. Don’t worry, you don’t actually need to defeat Placidusax to undo the Frenzied Flame affliction, you just need to use the needle on yourself while you’re there.
