If you’re someone who loves getting Twitch Drops for games, we can explain how to get a pet in Nightingale through this same method.

Inflexion Games has special Twitch Drops going on for the launch of Nightingale, so how can you get an exceptional dog as a reward?

Nightingale: How to get a pet and other Twitch Drops

From February 20 (9 AM PT/12 PM ET) to February 27 (9 AM PT/12 PM ET), you can receive special Twitch Drops for Nightingale in four different rewards. Essentially, you’ll receive in-game items by watching a certain amount of hours of Twitch content about this game. You can get a pet in Nightingale by watching eight hours of Nightingale Twitch streams.

Upon watching eight hours of content, you’ll receive a “Distinguished Puppy”, which is a tiny dachshund with a purple top hat. There are a few other Twitch Drops as well:

  • Two hours: Umbrella
  • Four hours: Masculine outfit
  • Six hours: Feminine outfit

You’ll have the span of one week to watch this amount of Twitch streams on Nightingale to receive these in-game items. But how can you unlock them? If you’ve never claimed Twitch Drops before, here’s how it’s done:

  1. Link your Steam/Epic account to your Twitch account
  2. Watch some Nightingale streams and claim the items in your Twitch inventory tab
  3. Claim the items in-game through the game settings.

Not only can you acquire some dapper outfits, but you can also claim an umbrella for gliding around in-game alongside your pet dog! Unfortunately, Nightingale currently doesn’t have any other pets available, so this is the only way to receive one. The game launches in Early Access, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see pets become a thing later in development.

But since getting an adorable pet is currently only allowed through Twitch Drops, you should get it before the campaign is over. Now that you’ve figured out how to collect Twitch Drops, you may also be wondering where you can play Nightingale, like the Steam Deck.
