While trying to enter a crew hosted by other players, you will encounter an error message that says “An Error Occurred.” This does not seem like a server issue, neither does it look like a connection error. Unfortunately, without fixing this, you cannot get into a crew and start your journey to collect some scraps and meet your profit quota.

Although the error gets solved quite easily most of the time, sometimes it needs some troubleshooting. Here are all the possible fixes that you can try for the “An Error Occurred” issue in Lethal Company.

  • Try to join other crews: When you encounter the error for the first time while joining any crew, try to join any other crew that is available on your server. This solved the error most of the time for me.
  • Restart Lethal Company: If you are unable to join any of the crews on your server, restart Lethal Company. Close the game entirely and launch it again as Administrator.
  • Restart your PC and router: If restarting the game is not working, restart your PC. Also, restart your router, or reconnect your PC with the WiFi connection after disconnecting manually.

Make sure to keep your game updated by checking your game library on Steam. To make sure you do not miss any future updates, enable auto-update by following the given steps.
