How to find the crashed Star Destroyer in LEGO Fortnite

0

The Star Wars Collab with LEGO Fortnite has added many new features. Quests are cool, but did you wonder where the Star Destroyer went? Let me show you how to find the crashed Star Destroyer in LEGO Fortnite.

Where is the Star Destroyer in LEGO Fornite?

The Star Destroyer will appear on your map shortly after it loads for the first time. It doesn’t matter if your world is in Survival or Creative mode, and you don’t have to start a new game to enjoy the Star Wars content.

You’ll see the Star Destroyer enter your map through a portal. If you keep watching it, a plume of smoke will appear, marking the crash site. Don’t worry if you didn’t catch the direction, as the smoke is pretty distinct.

The plume is a little tricky to see at night, so I recommend waiting until daytime before investigating the crash site.

How to reach the Star Destroyer in LEGO Fortnite

As maps are random in LEGO Fornite, your mileage may vary, but my Star Destroyer crashed miles from my base. It took me several minutes to reach the crash site in Creative Mode, flying at top speed. If you’re in Survival mode, the journey will take a long time on foot, so plan accordingly.

There are several biomes between my base and the Star Destroyer, and a lot of water, so a vehicle is preferable if you have one. Keep heading toward the plume of smoke, and you’ll eventually reach the crash site.

Should you go to the Crashed Star Destroyer in LEGO Fortnite?

You need to visit the Star Destroyer Crash Site to complete a challenge. Even if you’re not interested in quests, the wreckage is pretty impressive and well worth the journey.

Several Grand Chests are scattered across the site, but don’t be fooled. My Grand Chests were full of common materials like Granite and Pumpkin Seeds. There are also enemies with blasters, which do just under three hearts of damage per shot. Fortunately, their aim is just as bad as in the movies, so you should be fine.

If the Star Wars collab has brought you back to LEGO Fortnite after a break, don’t forget to try out the new vehicle-building options. A Star Wars speeder may be cool, but nothing beats a vehicle you built yourself from scratch.
