how to find Lucky Pals

Palworld has blended some of the best gaming mechanics we’ve seen over the years all into one package, and the final result has been a blast thus far. The game borrows a lot of mechanics from Pokemon, and Palworld even has its own version of shiny Pokemon called Lucky Pals.

How to Find Lucky Pals in Palworld

At first glance, Palworld is more or less a darker version of the Pokemon universe, and they’ve taken some inspiration from the series in some regards. One of these aspects is the notion of some Pals being slightly shiny, which Pokemon fans are all too familiar with, as hunting shiny Pokemon is one of the best ways to keep playing Pokemon games.

However, in Palworld, they’re called Lucky Pals, and there are actually more benefits to obtaining them than just their looks. For instance, upon catching one of them and adding it to your squad, you will gain the passive effect called ‘Rare’ which will increase Work Speed and Attack Power by 15 percent each.

So, it’s worthwhile to hunt some of these down, but similar to shiny Pokemon, these Lucky Pals are going to be rather tricky to obtain. When exploring the world, keep your eyes and ears alert at all times. These Pals are going to be slightly larger than regular Pals in their class, and they’re also going to emit some loud cries as you get closer to them.

Once you’ve spotted one, don’t lose sight of Lucky Pals. While these encounters are completely random at the end of the day, if you manage to see a Lucky Pal, it’s best to chase it down no matter where it runs off, too.

We also recommend just keeping a general eye out while you’re exploring the world of Palworld as throughout your journey, we’d like to say you’re going to run into some Lucky Pals, but it’s hard to tell. It’s never guaranteed to run into one of these Pals, and we’ve certainly learned our lesson from trying to hunt shiny Pokemon in the past, so patience is key. Keep an eye out while you’re hunting for some of Palworld’s rare materials.
