Finding the right Seal is one of the most important ways to ensure your Incantation build is as strong as possible in Elden Ring. If you want to use any of the Dragon Cult Incantations, which include some of the most powerful Lightning magic in the game, the Gravel Stone Seal is one of the best Seals you can get.
The Seal is only available from a specific enemy in the Royal Capital City, and in this guide, we’re going to let you know exactly how you can find it.
Location
The Gravel Stone Seal is found in Leyndell, Royal Capital. The closest Site Of Grace to your target is either the West Capital Rampart or Fortified Manor. From the Rampart, you need to head down the stairs to the next level down, where there are three Oracle Envoys and a lever controlling the entrance to the Fortified Manor. Jump over the balcony onto the Manor side main avenue here, and the target will be at the far right end of the street. If you are coming from the Manor, you need to head out onto the main avenue, and the target will be at the left end of the street.
Acquiring The Seal
The enemy that drops the Seal is a golden Leyndell Knight. There are two in this area, but the one you are looking for is the one carrying a Spear. Try and pull the spear-carrying knight alone, or draw it away from the one with the Bow, so you don’t have to fight them both at once. The Knight will use a mix of spear attacks and a dangerous ranged lightning strike, which you can dodge by rolling when it has charged. Be careful that you don’t aggro a third Leyndell Knight that is guarding the large doors opposite the Manor. The Seal is a guaranteed drop when you defeat the target.
Equipping And Upgrading
You’ll need 4 Strength and 18 Faith to equip this Seal. The Seal can be upgraded using normal Smithing Stones, which means you can take it all the way up to +25. As soon as you upgrade to +15 or above, this weapon will have S Faith scaling, meaning you can put out massive incantation damage. As this seal also boosts Dragon Cult Incantations, that means you can bring the thunder with fantastic spells like Lightning Spear, which are very good against some of the bosses in Royal Capital.
