Dodge Its Charges

The troll is going to charge at you fairly often. This will trigger the red sigil above your head, meaning the attack cannot be blocked. As long as you’re not too close when it begins it’s charge, you can usually roll out of the way. If you’re able to bait the troll into charging you, stand in front of a tree or boulder before you dodge out of the way. This will often make the troll hit its head, stunning it for a few moments and allowing you to sling some spells in the meantime.

Look Out For The Club

This troll has a massive club that it’s going to try swinging at you. Most of the attacks can’t be blocked, so you’ll have to dodge. But usually the final strike, an overhead attack, will show the golden sigil above your head. This is a great moment to toss up Protego and follow up with some punishing spellwork.

Defend Against Boulders

This will be accompanied by a golden sigil, meaning you can use Protego to block it. If your timing is really perfect, you can use Protego and move into Stupefy against the troll.

Build & Use Ancient Magic
