- Hold down the L button.
Once you obtain the ball, hold L and press the Pass button (Y or B.) A circular target will now appear in front of you.
- Select your target area.
Move the left stick to move the target to another teammate or location.
- Let go of the Pass button.
After selecting the ball’s target area, let go of the B or Y button. You have now successfully performed a regular Free Pass in Mario Strikers: Battle League.
How to Do a Charged Free Pass
