How to Dislodge or destroy Runaway Boulders with a melee weapon

Fortnite’s latest challenge requires players to either dislodge or destroy runaway boulders with a melee weapon, and players are curious how they can do it.

As one might have guessed from the name of the task itself, all players have to do is destroy runaway boulders, or dislodge them by destroying their base. This will cause it to roll down from the place, and this should complete your challenge. You need to do it thrice in order to complete the challenge, so it might be a bit tricky to complete it.

The first thing you need to keep in mind while completing this challenge is locating the runway boulders. The problem is that the spawn of these runaway boulders is not fixed, so it is not quite possible to give an exact location where you will be able to find them. However, these boulders are usually located on cliffs, so that is probably the best place to find them. Here are some locations where you can find these boulders.

• Reality Falls
• Coney Crossroads
• Logjam Lumberyard

Once you have found a runaway boulder, you need to proceed to the next task, which involves dislodging or destroying it. You can choose either of the two depending on your preference, and that will define what strategy you need to take. If you want to destroy it, you need to use your Pickaxe to directly hit the Runaway boulder until it gets destroyed. It might take a few hits, but you will eventually be able to shatter it.

If you wish to dislodge it instead, then you need to hit its base. This will eventually break it, and then the boulder will start rolling down the cliff. You should be able to complete the challenge with either of these methods.
