While facing Bracken, Forest Keepers, and even the Ghost Girl in Lethal Company can be horrifying and extremely difficult, there is nothing worse than opening a door and finding Turrets that will blast you to oblivion. Getting lighted by the orange lights of death is no joke, and despite your efforts, the Turrets will shoot you before you can get behind them most of the time. So, how can you disable them? Well, by turning them off, of course!
You see, Lethal Company is a game that, while you can certainly attempt to play by yourself, is a game for player parties that communicate with each other. This will not only result in hilarious situations involving ridiculous deaths and the occasional jump scares but also enable team coordination and increase survivability if the team is in sync and not playing around – although it is a game, after all.
To that end, you will need one of your teammates to handle the Monitor. He will be the eye in the sky, looking at you and your teammates while you explore and scavenge scrap. Once you encounter a Turret, the teammate monitoring you will have to open the Terminal. Then he must type the name of the Turret in it. Once the teammate presses enter, he will disable the Turret for a short time. It will last enough for you and your teammates to go past it and continue venturing inside the moon you are currently exploring.

You can also do this to open up locked doors you may encounter. While these doors will remain open, the Turrets will soon get back online. Keep that in mind if you are going to backtrack your way out. Keep an eye on your teammates and type as fast as you can!
