What’s this? Another Raven callsign, and they’re standing amongst the ruins of the base you were about to attack. This can’t be a good thing. They’re looking at you like they might want their stolen callsign back too. The fight with Raven in Armored Core 6 is a big one, and right off the bat, you know it’s going to be difficult. The unknown Raven has a well-earned confidence, and you’re going to need to pull out all the stops to prove who the real Raven is in Armored Core 6.

I was in my juggernaut era in Armored Core when I took Raven on, and it worked for me very well. So, I was packing two Songbirds and two Zimmerman Shotguns. I love this combo because it delivers an almost instant stagger with three to four well-placed shotgun shells, then lets you unload with the devastating shoulder grenades before the reload for the second round of shotgun shells.
Obviously, with a weight limit like this, I lose out on some movement speed, and it drains EN quickly, but for me, it was the one that worked. A lot of other people try to counter Raven with fast Armored Core speeds, but for me, brute force was the key. I had huge bipedal legs, the BASHO models, due to their ability to keep bipedal speed and movement but the tankiness to absorb damage.

Raven does not stop coming. Pile Driver strikes, endless rockets, and rifle blasts combine with its Armored Core’s pulse shield blast. You will not get any breathing room, and it can be stressful. I noticed a few people try to counter Raven with constant distance and speed, but I found a better method that worked for me in Armored Core 6.
Rather than running from Ravens’ Armored Core, I instead waited for her dashes. I then used these moments to unload my shotguns and at least one of my Songbirds at close range. This staggered her when she was charging and at her most vulnerable. It stopped some of her most devastating attacks, such as the Pile Driver. It also gave enough time to counter before putting distance between the two Armored Cores. Keep your head, and use her own attacks against her. As soon as Ravens’ Armored Core is staggered, let those Songbirds sing.
