Don’t get rid of your more common items just yet. Here is how to craft Legendary items with the Eternity Cache in Last Epoch
With a whole lot of influx of new players trying out Last Epoch after its exit from its Early Access version, some mechanics in the game have been introduced across its history that might not be as clear as you might expect. In this case, we are talking about the Eternity Cache. In simple terms, this is one of the ways you will be able to craft Legendary items in Last Epoch. Crafting in this game is much more important than other dungeon crawlers like Diablo 4. For example, in Blizzard’s game, you get Uniques – the equivalent of Last Epoch’s Legendaries – via random drops. To use it to craft Legendaries, you will need to access and complete the Temporal Sanctum dungeon. You can access it from the Ruined Coast area.
Once you have finished the Temporal Sanctum dungeon, you will enter a room with the Eternity Cache. Interact with it to begin crafting Legendary items. You will need two items of the same type in total:
While you can check out our piece regarding Legendary Potential and Weaver’s Will, Legendary Potential – in simple terms – is what will determine how many of the Exalted affixes you will get to transfer to your new Legendary item. That means that if you have a Legendary Potential of 4, your Legendary will receive all of your Exalted item’s affixes. If the LP is less than 4, then the Legendary will receive random affixes from said Exalted item.

You will only get to use the Eternity Cache once, meaning that you will have to complete the Temporal Sanctum dungeon again to continue crafting Legendaries. Moreover, you won’t need to bring any of the weapons with you since there is a stash in the Eternity Cache room. Happy crafting!
