While you’re going through ‘The Flying Metal Nuisance‘ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you eventually may be stuck on how to complete ‘Give Me a Sign’.

Since you need to finish this quest before getting all the way through the metal nuisance one, here’s how to complete it.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: ‘Give Me a Sign’ quest – Where is the broken shop sign?

Playing through the main quest for the Rift in Time DLC will eventually lead you to this short quest. How you can complete the ‘Give Me a Sign’ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is by finding the broken half of Goofy’s shop sign, which is to the right of his stall.

I was personally stuck on this part of the quest for awhile. The way to the broken half of the sign was blocked off, and I wasn’t looking in the right area. To the right of where Goofy’s stall is, you’ll find the broken half of the sign sitting on a wooden box. Clear the Copper rocks with your Pickaxe to get to it.

Now just head back to Goofy, and he’ll ask that you find two more materials to fix his stall. You’ll need to find these materials around Ancient’s Landing:

  • x25 Copper: From Copper rocks scattered around.
  • x12 Plastic Scrap: Fish on spots without water ripples.

Once you gather enough materials, talk to Goofy again and you can finally fix his stall. Interact with the shop sign and the stall will look good as new. As a reward, he’ll give you some seeds to plant, and you can now shop for more seeds at his stall.

Now you can get back to ‘The Flying Metal Nuisance’ quest, which will ask that you use the Celery from Goofy’s stall to create Best Fish Forever. This recipe also requires a Sea Snail, which we have a guide on how to find.
