The final part of the Golden Slumber narrative in Genshin Impact Version 3.1 has a few trials that players must finish for the latest World Quest. But, if you are having difficulty with this particular task, we’ll show you how to complete the Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand quest, including several tips and tricks about the puzzles within the Khaj-Nisut.
Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand Quest in Genshin Impact
The Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand storyline is the last chapter of the Golden Slumber World Quest in Genshin Impact. At the beginning of this mission, players will fight groups of Eremites and travel to Khaj-Nisut, where they must participate in three trials.
The First Trial
The first trial isn’t too far from your current location, so you can start this test by going to the nearest waypoint. Once players reach the designated area, they must press ‘Operate’ near the Scarlet Sand Slate to begin this task and make their way underground. This trial is mainly a way to test your exploration abilities since you’ll need to go through the small maze to find the Keystones (located in chests) in order to pass the trial.
After you’ve defeated a few Primal Constructs and collected the Keystones, you’ll need to use the item for specific doorways with an illuminated spot, as shown here:
Eventually, players will come across a Scarlet Sand Slate near a giant statue, which must be turned on with the ‘Operate’ button once again.
The Second Trial
The second trial of the Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand quest in Genshin Impact begins when players initiate the Scarlet Sand Slate within the designated location. When you go underground, you must eliminate rounds of Primal Constructs to go further down. Then, you should be able to interact with another Scarlet Sand Slate to pass this test.
The Third Trial
Fortunately, the last trial of the quest is reasonably straightforward because you just need to move around until you find a drop-off point. However, keep in mind that you will be prohibited from entering certain places because there is a blue-colored barrier around you. To avoid these blocked areas, try to walk toward the statues within this location and look for ways to get down to the Scarlet Sand Slate. Once you’ve completed the tests, you’ll get the chance to finally go inside the Khaj-Nisut.
The Khaj-Nisut has a few more trials that players must finish for the Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand quest. At this point, you’ll need to activate three mechanisms by following the Primal Embers around the area. But, if one of the Primal Embers gets blown away from the Fan Blade, you’ll have to go back and release them.
When players are assigned the task “Operate Prism of Khaj-Nisut and try to reach Khaj-Nisut’s upper floor,” they will need to connect all the Prism Beams to make a square-like shape, as shown here:
If there is a red or blue structure blocking the pathway of the light, you must trigger the new mechanism of Genshin Impact, known as the “Prism of Khaj-Nisut,” in the center of the room. With this device, you can switch controls to operate the different colored platforms around the area. For example, you can press the ‘Switch’ button to change the color to blue and select ‘Operate’ to move these platforms.
Next, you can make your way up the elevator after you press ‘Start Up” near the blue object on the wall:
From there, players will battle against Samail’s subordinates and escape the Khaj-Nisut, ending the Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand quest in Genshin Impact.
