For a lot of games especially multiplayer ones, I get super analytical. I’m always checking my stats and other numbers to add weight to my playtime. With XDefiant, this is still the case. When I found out how to check my skill rating, I got obsessed with those values. Keeping up to date with the player count is a part of this routine as well. XDefiant: How to check the player count

After doing some digging and checking the sites that I usually go to, it seems like at the moment you can’t check the player count. However, there might be some numbers out there, but they may not be accurate. The reason why we might not be seeing any hard numbers just yet is that XDefiant is still very new. Many sites that track the player counts for competitive shooters might not have caught up to the shooter yet. So wait for a few days, and numbers will start to show up. Once the player count is tracked, we may be surprised at where the game stands despite the many issues like the can’t find lobby error.

While you can’t track down how many people are playing the shooter, you can see how many people are watching streamers playing XDefiant. Streamcharts.org is a great place to get a snapshot of the health of the game in terms of how many people are watching it on Twitch.
