In Persona 3 Reload, humans aren’t the only beings joining you on your adventure. You have a friendly robot and, of course, the best doggo in the world, Koromaru.
Even he needs a new wardrobe every now and again. So, we’re going to check out the new remake and figure out how to change Koromaru’s outfit in Persona 3 Reload.
Persona 3 is a unique game within the series, as Koromaru is the only animal in the series to, well, actually be just an animal. Without spoiling too much, Koromaru was found by the SEES team and later awakened to a Persona he could use in battle.
But aside from this, he walks, acts, and barks like a normal dog would. This poses a few challenges for outfit ideas, since you can’t pull a Morgana and change Koromaru’s look when entering Tartarus.
In previous iterations of Persona 3, party members would only change costumes depending on their equipped gear. But this is a modern-day Persona remake, so people can change cosmetic costumes for every character. However, no matter what gear you place on Koromaru in Persona 3, it will not change his appearance. Thankfully, Atlus came to their senses, and in Persona 3 Reload, players can finally change Koromaru’s outfit.

As of now, we know that Koromaru is getting a school outfit from P4 and P5, along with a very interesting Morgana skin along with the Phantom Thieves outfits. To change outfits, players will want to head to the menu and select the gear/equipment tab. From there, players can change their weapons and gear to affect their stats, or you should be able to swap outfits from here. It’s unclear what other outfits Koromaru will receive when Persona 3 Reload releases on February 2nd, 2024. I know I’m hoping for a fancy butler outfit to make him look truly dapper.
