Before beginning your build, make sure you have enough fish, berries, meat, and other consumable food items collected and stored. The Construction Basics

Base
The first step to any structure is the foundation and base. Depending on the environment and area chosen, the player may have to clear the surrounding area of unwanted trees, plants, and foliage. This can be easily done by selecting any of the axes and chopping the object in question. Gathering the sticks, logs, and food resources whilst clearing the designated area for your camp makes perfect sense. Once you have cleared your chosen area simply begin to lay out your foundation with full-length logs.
Flooring
After you’ve built your foundation for your base, you can start installing the flooring. This is accomplished by gathering one or two logs and pressing the interact button when prompted above the desired location for flooring installation.

Windows & Doors
