What is a session of deadly, disturbing, and dismembering kombat without the occasional mini-game? Well, maybe a less painful session, but at least it feels fulfilling after you beat it. Test Your Might not only will test your might, but also your patience, your mental stability, and, of course, the integrity of the bones in your hands. Here is how to beat Test Your Might in Mortal Kombat 1.

Test Your Might is a mini-game that will, in fact, test your character’s might. It is a very basic and straightforward mini-game: all you have to do is smash your buttons to fill a bar. Once the bar reaches a specific level, you must press the Block button to successfully test your might and avoid certain dangerous situations and outcomes. However, this is easier said than done, as players will oftentimes fail miserably to the aforementioned button smashing. And yes, that means me. Moreover, this mode now makes several appearances as an optional integration to certain story points in the game’s Kampaign. So, completing this mini-game is now more important than ever.
To easily complete Test Your Might, you will have to position your hand above the controller and each of your fingers on top of the buttons. Then, continue smashing them like there is no tomorrow. Be careful, though. If you accidentally click the Block button during this test without getting to the objective or you run out of money, you will lose. This will end up in death for your character via asphyxiation, forced amputation, or even your eyes getting gouged out. Nice.
