A leaked art book for Hogwarts Legacy has revealed new details on the upcoming release.
WARNING: This article contains possible minor spoilers for Hogwarts Legacy.Ahead of Hogwarts Legacy’s release next month, leaked images from an accompanying art book has revealed new gameplay details. The images not only reveal an in-game character screen and early concept art for the game’s map, but also an estimate of how long it will take players to complete the game.
The images were leaked by a Twitter user known as Bigby, but it’s not exactly clear how the user managed to get their hands on the art book before release. But, despite this, the images do reveal plenty of new Hogwarts Legacy details. According to the leaker, Hogwarts Legacy will take roughly 35 hours to complete the main story, whilst completionists are looking at around 70 hours of gameplay to complete all side quests too.
Alongside the leaked art book, it has also been suggested that users are beginning to get their hands on early copies of Hogwarts Legacy. A Reddit thread with more details from the leaker discussed the game’s side quests, characters, and other details. According to the leaks, Hogwarts Legacy did originally include a Quidditch game mode but was abandoned after a year of development.
The leaker also claims that the map was cut by almost a quarter, with certain areas of the map now inaccessible. Other details, such as the game’s broom mechanics, puzzles, and more were also detailed in the post. After numerous delays, Hogwarts Legacy is set to release on February 10th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Unfortunatey, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of the game won’t be launching until April 4th, followed by the Nintendo Switch version on July 25th. Users who pick up a copy of Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 will gain exclusive access to the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest line.
