Apple has revealed the next slate of games coming to Apple Arcade. Along with 4 games coming soon to Apple Arcade, nine games available through the subscription service have also recently been updated. It is worth noting that, out of the 4 games coming to the service, two had actually been released on the App Store beforehand.
New Games Coming to Apple Arcade
Featuring over 45 levels, multiple game modes, and hundreds of mini-goals, Frenzic: Overtime features a meld of fast-paced gameplay and puzzles. Players will have to meet their shift goals in a timely manner to get promoted in the assembly line, and ultimately save the world.
Legends of Kingdom Rush
Set in the same world as tower defense series Kingdom Rush, Legends of Kingdom Rush is an RPG with turn-based combat. Players will lead a party of heroes in a fight against the Dark Army. Legends of Kingdom Rush will feature popular characters from the series, like mighty paladin Gerald Lightseeker, and shadow assassin Asra Daggerfall.
Having won multiple awards back in 2014, Leo’s Fortune will be making the jump over from the App Store to Apple Arcade. It is a side-scrolling platformer with 24 levels of platforming and physics-based puzzles. Leo’s Fortune also features a Hardcore mode unlocked after finishing the game once, boosting the difficulty where a single death means starting all over from the beginning.
A unique pinball game with an art style based on paint splatters, INKS featuers over 100 tables to play. Having originally released in 2016, INKS has won its fair share of rewards for its design and gameplay. In INKS, each table gets filled with paint splatters depending on how players go through them, making each table part of a greater story of the player’s complete playthrough of INKS.
Apple Arcade Games With Recent Updates
A recent update added new in-game features like Squad Signals, which can be triggered during a match to alert team mates to their locations. Butter Royale also got Spice Tokens, which help raise the level cap on their favourite Spice.
Grindstone’s newest update introduces a new mode for Daily Grind. Dubbed Fortune Grind, the mode is inspired by gameshows where players spin the wheel to add gear, resources, or creeps to the board. The update also added a new cave with 10 levesl in the first area, and new items like a gold health potion, and the Sparkler Sword and Sparkler Arrow seasonal gear.
Crossy Road Castle
New time-limited modes have been introduced, with an emphasis on leaderboards.
Star Trek: Legends
The new update continues Star Trek: Legends’ story. Episode 7 of the game features a new adventure for the crew of the U.S.S. Artemis, and new collectable character Torchbearer.
A new update to Spire Blast has added 60 new levels, and more challenge levels on the saga map.
Farm It’s newest update adds two new mini-games: fishing, and mushroom farming. The update also adds new options for character customisation.
The new update has added farming, along with new enemies and dangerous plants. Players can now also tame and breed big cats, wolves, elephant birds, and boars, among others.
The newest update adds a new character, Hunter, and new skills for the Veterinary.
The update has added a new endless mode, as well as new leaderboards.
Apple Arcade is a subscription service with a 1-month free trial. Games part of Apple Arcade do not feature any advertisements or in-app purchases. At the time of writing, over 180 games are available on the service. After the free trial, Apple Arcade costs Rs. 99 per month. The service is also available as part of Apple One, which combines a number of Apple’s subscription services into a single subscription. Apple One is priced at Rs. 195 per month, and includes 50GB of iCloud storage, Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple News+, and Apple Fitness+.
