Sega detailed the Sanrio event set take place in the Japanese version of Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage, known in Japan as Project Sekai: Colorful Stage feat. Hatsune Miku on the official social media account. The event will pair each character with a Sanrio mascot and run from December 5-19, 2023.
During this crossover event, players will be able to play the gacha to collect cards featuring new illustrations that will assist them during the live shows. The highest rarity cards (four stars) that will be featured include Hatsune Miku with Hello Kitty, Saki Tenma with Pompompurin, Aoi Momoi with My Melody, Toya Aoyagi with Pochacco, Emu Otori with Cinnamoroll, and Ena Shinonome with Kuromi.

Additionally, if a player pulls one of the six highest rarity Sanrio collaboration cards, they will also receive a headband accessory for their avatar themed based on the mascot they are paired with in the artwork. Also, during the event period, a Hello Kitty virtual avatar will be available at the Virtual Live Shop.
