An anime based on the mobile game, Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr-Hunt, is in production. There’s no information on when to expect it, but there is an announcement trailer available to watch.

The trailer shows plenty of characters from the game, such as protagonist Wistario. You can watch the trailer via the game’s official Twitter account. Urds-Hunt takes place in P.D. 323, and focuses on Wistario, who hails from the Radonitsa Colony near Venus. Venus acts as a prison colony, and most of the people living there are not legally recognized. One day, Wistario runs into a girl named Korunaru Kousa, who tells him that she knows the way to the Urdr-Hunt.

Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt will end service on January 11, 2024, about five years after its debut in January 2019. It’s hard to say from the timeline if Bandai Namco intended for the anime to act as a swan song for Urdr-Hunt, or if it planned on releasing one even before it decided to end the game.

Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans originally ran in Japan from 2015 to 2017. It takes place in the Post Disaster era, which is separate from the Universal Century timeline. The story follows Mikazuki Augus, who pilots the Gundam Barbatos. The story follows a group of child soldiers who form the Tekkadan, which is a private security company, after rebelling against their former bosses for trying to use them as disposable decoys.

An anime for Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr-Hunt is in production. However, it’s not clear as to what format it’ll appear.
