Goat Simulator 3 is teaming up with Fortnite to bring Battle Royale players an exclusive in-game skin, but only for those who pre-order a copy of Goat Simulator 3 via the Epic Games Store.
The skin was data mined a few hours prior to its official announcement by leakers such as HYPEX and ShiinaBR. According to Shiina, although the skin will be available immediately to anyone who pre-orders Goat Simulator 3 through the Epic Games Store, it will also be available to other players via the in-game Item Shop. The date that the Goat Simulator skin will be released via the Item Shop has yet to be confirmed by Epic Games.
Shortly after the leak, the official social media accounts for Goat Simulator 3 confirmed the collaboration. As expected, the announcement was full of goat-related puns, “Baaing in my skin, Goat in Fortnite reveal, Here now for you all, Pre-udder (or nah) seals the deal”. Translated to English, the announcement states that an exclusive Fortnite skin is now available through the Epic Games Store when pre-ordering Goat Simulator 3.
The outfit, which can be seen in the YouTube video below, is a cross between a goat and a rather buff-looking human. Unlike many of the other skins in Fortnite, there doesn’t appear to be any accompanying cosmetics or emotes to go with the Goat Simulator 3 skin.
According to the official Goat FAQ, “any purchase of Goat Simulator 3 editions on the Epic Game Store before September 29, 2023 11:59 pm ET will grant you ‘A Goat’ outfit in Fortnite”. To redeem the skin, players will need to log into Fortnite with the same Epic Games account that they used to purchase Goat Simulator 3. The skin will then be available via your in-game locker.
